Dr Uddin was born in Guyana, South America and achieved his MB.BS degree in Chennai, India before returning to Guyana to serve the general population there as a General practitioner. He later migrated to the USA and completed his Pediatric Residency at the Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown New Jersey before moving to Houston , Texas to open the Pediatric clinic of La Porte in order to serve the children in the La Porte and surrounding area. He has since then been serving this area for the past 24 years providing efficient, caring and compassionate healthcare to the children of Texas. He has now opened the second location Hill ave clinic and is now looking to extend this coverage to Dickson, League City and surrounding area providing the same level of care to the children there.

Sr. Chinwendu, a highly experienced and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner who recently joined Pediatric of La- Porte.
Born and raised in Nigeria and holds a Bachelor of Since in Nursing form Midland University Fremont Nebraska, and a Master of Science in Nursing form the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She is Borad-Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Throughout her career, Sr. Chinwendu has worked in various clinical settings; including nursing homes,
medical surgical units, and acute rehabilitation hospital units caring for both adult and pediatric patients. She is known for her strong commitment to patient care and values the time she spends with her patients.
With a passion for working with children, Sr. Chinwendu decided to join Pediatric Clinic of La Porte in August of 2024 to contribute to the delivery of excellent, patient-and-family-centered care for young patients. She is fluent in English, Italian, Igbo and understands some spanish, enabling her to effectively
communicatee with a diverse patient population.
In addition to her professional achievements Sr. Chinwendu is a Catholic Nun and member of the Handmaids of the Holy Child Jesus (HHCJ). She resides in a convent in Houston with her sisters and
enjoys activities such as walks, exploring new places, teaching Bible studies, and spending quality time with her family and community.
Without doubt, Sr. Chinwendu’s expertise, compassionate nature, and multicultural background will
be invaluable in providing exceptional care to the patients at Pediatric Clinic of La Porte.
